Trützschler Supplies Equipment To NCSU
Trützschler Nonwovens — a supplier of technologies for technical textile and nonwoven fabric
manufacturers, and one of three business units that comprise Germany-based Trützschler GmbH &
Co KG — has supplied web formation and bonding technology to North Carolina State University
(NCSU), Raleigh, N.C.
According to Trützschler Nonwovens, NCSU selected the Card EWK 413 for its flexibility in processing natural, man-made and mineral fibers and the quality of its carding and web formation results for all web weights. NCSU also selected the Needle Loom ENL series for its mechanical needling flexibility. The needle loom bonds products with a minimum of draft to produce low-weight products; and its maintenance-free guiding elements make it easy to operate, Trützschler reports.
