Specialty chemicals manufacturer Clariant International Ltd., Switzerland, has opened a regional headquarters in Singapore to serve its Southeast Asian and Pacific region customers. The location employs 200 people and also will serve as regional headquarters for its subsidiary, Süd-Chemie AG, Germany. In addition, Clariant's Textile Chemicals business unit has moved from Switzerland to the Singapore site, which also includes a state-of-the-art laboratory.
