Victor Group Inc., Quebec, has promoted Jack Eger to director of sales.

R.G. Barry Corp., Pickerington, Ohio, has named Jay Smith vice president of sourcing, China.

The Norcross, Ga.-based Technical Association of the Pulp, Paper, Packaging and Converting Industries (TAPPI) has named the following to its board of directors: Robert J. Gallo, Voith Paper North America; Jeff Hamilton, Sappi Fine Paper North America; and Chris Luettgen, Kimberly-Clark Corp. TAPPI has given T. Scott Frasca the 2010 TAPPI Paul W. Magnabosco Outstanding Local Section Member Award; and Willis J. Potts Jr. the 2010 TAPPI Herman L. Joachim Distinguished Service Award.

The National Cotton Council (NCC), Memphis, Tenn., has named Eddie Smith chairman and Charles H. Parker vice chairman. NCC also has named James F. "Jimmy" Dodson chairman of the American Cotton Producers.
