Swisstulle Invests In Brückner And Erbatech Technology

Switzerland-based Swisstulle AG -- a manufacturer of bobbinet tulle and of warp knitted fabric for home, apparel and technical textiles applications  -- has installed in its Qingdao, China, plant an energy-saving, environmentally friendly finishing line manufactured by Germany-based Brückner Trockentechnik GmbH & Co. KG. and its partner Erbatech Textile Plant & Equipment GmbH, also based in Germany.

The line produces contaminant-free, natural- and man-made-fiber knitted fabric. Components include Erbatech's Scout machine for washing out finishing agents and featuring controlled fabric guidance to optimize shrinkage; and Brückner's Power-Frame tenter, featuring the patented SPLIT-FLOW® air control system designed to provide homogenous airflow and temperature distribution across the entire length and width of the dryer. Brückner reports the tenter's nozzles are shaped to create an air cushion effect that transports very lightweight and sensitive fabrics gently through the line without snagging. It also features special equipment at the entry and exit that allows the fabric to be transported with very low tension.
