Spartanics Adds Bar Code Readers To Finecut Laser Die Cutting Machines

Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based Spartanics -- a manufacturer of laser die cutting, hard tool die cutting, screen printing and finishing equipment -- has announced its Finecut Laser Die Cutting machines now feature bar codes that enable rapid job changeovers.

"Bar code-driven changeovers allow you to not only run multiple jobs very efficiently from a single roll, but also to integrate job data into a database for complete product tracking," said Mike Bacon, vice president, Spartanics. "By adding a bar code reading station to the line of Finecut Laser Die Cutting systems, users will enhance the profitability of digital die cutting solutions for their applications, and especially when multiple short runs are a significant part of their business."

Bar code systems that can be integrated into Finecut Laser Die Cutting technology include GS1 Databar (RSS), 2D Symbologies, PDF417, Micro PDF, and any standard linear bar codes.
