INDA Announces 2010 Visionary Award Finalists
The Cary, N.C.-based Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) has announced the five
finalists for the 2010 Visionary Award. The award, now in its ninth year, is presented annually to
a new consumer product that features nonwoven fabrics.
The finalists are: Dial Corp. for its Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ Laundry Sheets; Advanced Cleaning Technologies LLC for the Ultimate Cloth®; Rockline Industries Inc. for its Regenerated Cotton Wipe; Procter & Gamble for its Infinity feminine hygiene pad; and Superior Felt and Filtration LLC/Wein Products Inc. for the Fitseal™ disposable respirator mask.
"Even in the challenging business climate of the past 12 months, consumer products' companies have invested in the development of new products and these five finalists of the Visionary Award are proof of the success of these efforts," said Michael Jacobsen, INDA Visionary Award chairman. "They represent the most significant advances in incorporating nonwovens technology into consumer products and they are being recognized not only for their technical attributes, but for their novel use of nonwoven fabrics as well."
Each finalist will make a presentation during INDA's Vision 2010 Consumer products conference to be held in New Orleans, Jan. 20-22, 2010. Conference attendees will vote on the winner.
