Oerlikon Neumag Commissions Meltblown Pilot Line At Spunlaid Solution Center
Germany-based Oerlikon Neumag has added a meltblown line to its Spunlaid Solution Center in
Neumünster. The pilot line features a working width of 0.6 meters, and is dedicated to the
development of standard meltblown fabrics including composite nonwovens for filtration media and
fine-fiber barrier fabrics.
The Spunlaid Solution Center supports Oerlikon Neumag's own research and development efforts and also is available for customer trials. By combining the new meltblown line with existing spunlaid and carding equipment, multi component nonwoven webs with a variety of characteristics can be created.
