Drifire® Expands High-Visibility FR Performance Apparel Line

Columbus, Ga.-based Drifire® -- a developer and manufacturer of flame-resistant (FR) apparel, as well as uniforms for military, law enforcement, firefighting and industrial professionals -- has expanded its high-visibility line of FR, moisture-wicking, fast-drying performance apparel and uniforms. The new FR clothing line includes knit undergarments, comfort mesh shirts, woven shirts, coveralls, pants, jackets, vests and hooded sweatshirts. Drifire's apparel meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) II and III safety requirements for fluorescent and reflective material and provides high levels of arc flash protection.

"With Drifire flame resistant products, we consider comfort a key component to a worker's overall performance, efficiency, and compliance," said Dustin Cohn, chief marketing officer, Drifire. "All of our products work to reduce skin irritation, skin temperature, odor, bacteria and moisture. In addition to providing workers with comfortable undergarments and uniforms for dangerous work conditions, we are also dedicated to providing permanent arc flash protection. The hi-viz line adds an extra safety component by allowing workers to stand out in high-visibility yellow, further preventing accidents on the job."
