France-based Rieter Nonwovens Systems recently introduced the JETlace®CottonPad hydroentangling machine for the production of cotton pads. The machine manufactures cotton webs ranging from 150 to 250 grams per square meter. According to the company, the machine is compact, making it efficient and environmentally considerate, consumes little energy and requires limited maintenance when compared to standard cotton nonwovens machines.
