Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics -- a manufacturer of polymer products for industrial applications, and a division of France-based Saint-Gobain -- reports its new CHEMFAB® XPS™ patent-pending coated fabric line features a specialty formulated resin blend and exhibits excellent release characteristics similar to those of the company's traditional Chemfab polytetrafluoroethylene-coated fabrics, while also featuring enhanced tear and crease resistance, flex fatigue resistance and conformability.

The fabrics are suitable for applications such as release sheets and conveyor belting in textile, chemical and industrial processing packaging composite molding, transfer printing and dry lamination.
