Neenah, Wis.-based Appleton Mfg. Division -- a producer of core cutters, core handling and finishing, roll and cart movers and other material handling solutions -- has introduced the RollMover™ battery-powered roll pusher and mover suitable for handling heavy loads such as large rolls of fabric, paper, tissue paper, nonwovens, fiberglass mat and other materials. The lightweight, compact materials handler can move loads ranging from 100 pounds to more than 20,000 pounds. According to Appleton, the RollMover reduces the need for compressed air, making it more cost-efficient and safer to use than air-powered movers. The RollMover is available in three models: standard duty, heavy duty and large roller.
