DyStar Offers Green Dianix® Polyester Dyes

As part of its ecoconfidence® program, Germany-based DyStar Textilfarben GmbH & Co. Deutschland KG offers a selection of noncontaminating disperse dyes from its Dianix® line that can meet retailers' restricted substances list (RSL) and ecolabel requirements and are especially suitable for dyeing recycled polyester.

"DyStar has evaluated nearly 200 critical chemical components in its disperse dyes, and of these, half are subject to regulatory control or retailer and ecolabel restrictions," said Dr. John Easton, Global Ecology Solutions manager, DyStar. "We have a rigorous testing and compliance program in place to ensure that our customers can meet these limits."

"We believe this 'green' range of Dianix dyes will provide a simple solution for dyers and printers who are struggling to meet the complex requirements of different RSLs," said Steve Barron, vice president of strategic marketing, DyStar.
