Effective June 1, Polymer Group Inc. (PGI), Charlotte, will implement a 5- to 7-percent price increase on polypropylene (PP)-based materials sold in North America, and a 9-percent price increase on all materials sold in Latin America. The company cited escalating oil-based raw material, production and energy costs in announcing the increases.
