Dow Announces Oxygenated Sovlents Price Increases

Effective July 1, The Dow Chemical Co., Midland, Mich., will implement a price increase in North America for products in its Oxygenated Solvents portfolio, including acids, alcohols, acetone derivatives, esters and glycol ethers. The company cited the continuous rise in hydrocarbon and energy costs in announcing the price increases, which will range from 3 to 8 cents per pound.
