Dow Reichhold To Raise Latex Prices In North America

Effective March 1, Research Triangle Park, N.C.-based Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex will raise by 5 cents per wet pound the price of all specialty latex products sold in North America except for products used in glove manufacturing.

“We have confirmed that the cost for key raw materials will continue to rise throughout 2008, and logistics and transportation costs have increased as well,” said Dave Gartshore, vice president, global sales. “As a company we remain committed to maintaining reasonable margins that allow us to continue to invest in product technology and manufacturing resources to help meet customer needs.”
