Huntsman, Brückner Team To Offer Finishing Solutions

Switzerland-based Huntsman Textile Effects and Germany-based Brückner Trockentechnik GmbH & Co. KG have joined forces to provide comprehensive textile-finishing solutions related to machinery technology, process engineering and dye/textile auxiliary recipes.

In the area of continuous dyeing of woven fabric, Brückner Textile Technologies offers its Thermosol concept comprising Hotflue Power-Colortherm and IR-radiant heater Power-Infratherm; while Huntsman offers dyestuffs and textile auxiliaries suitable for pad-batch and continuous dyeing of cellulosic fibers and polyester/cellulosic blends, and reactive dyes with the Novacon non-contrasting concept to provide durable earth tones. In the coating area, Brückner Plant Technologies and Huntsman have partnered to introduce an economical and energy-efficient line requiring only one drying step for two-sided effects. The companies also have developed other customized line concepts.

Huntsman and Brückner will offer their new concepts during a series of symposia for their customers, beginning with events scheduled to take place in India and Pakistan in Spring 2008.
