Cotton Incorporated Opens Hong Kong Regional Office
Cotton Incorporated, Cary, N.C. — the research and promotion company for US upland cotton and
cotton importers — has opened a regional office in Hong Kong. Located in Harbour City,
Tsimshatsui, the office will employ a staff of 10 full-time professionals to provide technical
services for regional mills and manufacturers; and to furnish information on cotton supply and
demand, fiber quality and consumer research trends, along with product trend analysis services.
“We are committed to doing business in China and have several programmes in place; both with
the trade and in educating consumers on the benefits of cotton,” said J. Berrye Worsham, the
company’s president and CEO. “[The Hong Kong] office will allow us a central location among key
mills and manufacturers in this very important region.”
