X-Rite Introduces New Spectrophotometer
The new VeriColor® Spectro spectrophotometer from X-Rite Inc., Grand Rapids, Mich., utilizes newly
patented technologies that enable it to accurately measure colors under demanding shop floor
conditions.
The VeriColor Spectro is capable of measuring the color of products with varied textures; measuring accurately without frequent calibration; reading color accurately in an environment with vibration and high humidity, and changing temperatures and lighting conditions; measuring colors at a distance of 10 centimeters from the test surface; and providing accurate real-time or continuous data.
The new spectrophotometer may also reduce rework and scrap when programmed to take regular and frequent measurements, owing to its ability to indicate when a process is making parts outside of programmed specifications. The spectrophotometer also features Color iScan® software that analyzes and correlates the instrument’s measurements with process parameters.
