Effective Jan. 1, 2008, or as contracts permit, Celanese Corp., Dallas, will increase the price of
all polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grades. Low-viscosity PVOH will increase by 15 cents per pound in
North, Central and South America, and Asia; and by 250 euros per ton in Europe. Medium-viscosity
(PVOH) will increase by 20 cents per pound in North, Central and South America, and Asia; and by
325 euros per ton in Europe. High-viscosity PVOH will increase by 25 cents per pound in North,
Central and South America, and Asia; and by 400 euros per ton in Europe.
