KCL Becomes Dyneema® Licensee
Germany-based protective glove manufacturer KCL has joined the Dyneema® licensing program of the Netherlands-based DSM Dyneema, manufacturer of Dyneema ultra-high-molecular weight polyethylene fiber. As part of the program, KCL’s line of Camapur Dyneema gloves are tested for abrasion and cut resistance. If the program’s high standards of resistance are met, the gloves are branded “with Dyneema.”
“We are very pleased to become a member of DSM Dyneema’s licensing program, which will help KCL differentiate our products from the competition and demonstrate measurable quality to our customers,” said Werner Friedrichs, CEO, KCL. “Working with DSM’s development team, we plan to explore new products and technologies that leverage the exceptional performance and comfort of Dyneema fiber.”
