Inkcups Develops Sapphire SB Inks For Tag Printing

Danvers, Mass.-based Inkcups Now Corp., a pad-printing and screen-printing supply company, has developed the Sapphire SB line of inks for pad- or screen-printed tags on T-shirts, jeans and underwear, among other garments; as well as rubber, rubber-like or soft-touch surfaces.

The Sapphire SB inks penetrate and saturate a garment, extending its life and enhancing its durability, even when used as a one-component ink, according to the company. The inks will stand up to numerous industrial washings when mixed with hardener, are easy to process, cure by air and dry quickly. The inks comply with California Proposition 65 and European EN 71 Toy Safety standards.

The new inks are available in 21 color shades as well as high-density black and white shades. Inkcups also offers a 12-color mixing system and free formulation guide for the generation of Pantone® colors.
