Lectra Opens New Offices, Reports Strong Sales Of Vector Cutters

Lectra, France, has relocated its office in Munich, Germany, to larger facilities that include training rooms and demonstration areas for Lectra machines and solutions. The new facility also will be used for presentations, seminars and workshops. Lectra Deutschland GmbH, which will serve Lectra’s German and Eastern European clients, is located at: Adalperostrasse 80, 85737 Ismaning, Germany; 49 89 996 26 0.

In addition, the company recently celebrated the opening of a new office in England with inauguration festivities. Customers such as Laura Ashley and Furnico were invited to attend a presentation on Lectra’s new offerings. In other company news, Lectra reports that sales of its new Vector automated cutting systems have reached 100 just four months after the systems were launched. Manufacturers in China, India, Eastern Europe and South America have purchased Vector cutters designed for high-volume production, while customers in the United States, Japan and Italy have chosen cutters for small-run production.
